will be holding a safety fundamentals evening on
Monday 25th of August, 7pm
With the continuing rise of online influences, it is more important than ever to safeguard our loved ones and learn the skills to protect our children.
We at CAIT Roscomáin are excited to announce our upcoming Internet Safety Course, specifically designed for parents and teachers who want to better understand how to protect children in the digital world.
In today’s connected age, children are spending more time online than ever before—whether for learning, socializing, or entertainment. This course offers practical tools, up-to-date information, and expert guidance to help you:
- Recognize online risks and warning signs
- Set healthy boundaries for screen time and device use
- Guide children through issues like cyberbullying, privacy, and social media
- Stay informed about apps, games, and platforms kids are using
Initially we will run a 2 hour overview presentation, with the option to sign up to a more in-depth, 6 week course for further information and training.
This fundamentals course costs €20, which will be deducted from the cost of the 6 week in depth course should you wish to sign up for it (details to follow soon).
